Kellie Irene Flynn is an individual who is known for looking ahead to the success of her professional future. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Northern California, as well as an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Petaluma Community College. She initially planned to use her degree in philosophy to attend law school, but she decided that a career in the dental care field was more suited to her passions. She currently works as a dental hygienist for the practice operating in Las Vegas, Nevada called Downtown Family Dental Partners.

Kellie Irene Flynn has worked a number of positions through out her adult life. Although she is now happily serving as a dental hygienist for Downtown Family Dental Partners, she used to make money as a waitress and bartender in order to support herself while she developed her career. Here are some tips for being a successful bartender.

The first thing you want to be able to do in order to be a successful bartender is to be polite. Bartenders rely mostly on their ability to get tips from customers, so being polite will certainly help in that regard. In the same way, make sure you can read a person when they want to chat or want to be left alone. This will also increase your chances of getting tips.

In addition to being polite, make sure you know your bartender terminology. A lot of bartenders mistake certain terms all the time, which can ruin a person’s drink. Know your ingredients, know how to mix a drink, and understand the difference between neat and up for example.

Kellie Irene Flynn was born and raised in Jefferson, Texas, a small town of just a few thousand people in the eastern part of the state. She left Jefferson many years ago after graduating from high school, and has since lived in Missouri, California, and now Las Vegas, Nevada. But she says that Texas, and Jefferson in particular, is in her DNA, and always will be.

In spite of its small size, Jefferson has more than seventy historic landmarks, including several museums and Greek-revival homes. It sits along the Big Cypress Bayou in the Cypress Valley of Northeast Texas. Jefferson was once a major port of entry into the Republic of Texas and a major shipping port, especially for those selling agricultural products such as cotton.

Kellie Irene Flynn learned all of that and more about her hometown when she was growing up. “State and civic pride are really big there – it was a huge part of my upbringing,” she recalls. “Jefferson is very proud of its heritage. But at the same time, it has an active Chamber of Commerce that is always trying to bring in new business and promote the town.”

When she was a teenager, a big part of her life was the Jefferson High School football team. Her boyfriend at the time was a second string flanker, and she went to all of the team’s home games, and many of its road games. “I used to watch that TV show, ‘Friday Night Lights,’” she says. “And boy, was that show accurate. Whenever I watched it, it was like opening a time capsule.”

Kellie Irene Flynn left Jefferson with her second string flanker boyfriend shortly after high school. The boyfriend is long gone, but she says her memories of Jefferson will always be with her.
